BerkeleyMapper displays point distribution maps from distributed sources. BerkeleyMapper was created and built using natural history museum specimen locations but is adaptable for mapping any collection of points. BerkeleyMapper is a collection of scripts and services bundled to provide integrated mapping functions using GoogleMaps, Terraserver, and open source mapping software components (Click here for a diagram showing how it all works).

Tools for using BerkeleyMapper

• Link your Google Spreadsheet Data to BerkeleyMapper using Berkeley MapMapker (BETA).
• Paste Lat/Lng Values into a textbox to create a quick map, created by Dick Moe with the The Consortium of California Herbaria.
